At a short but colorful handover ceremony in her office on April 30th 2025, she thanked the Local Government and Ministry of Education for grooming her into a responsible public servant that she has been. She thanked the Kyenjojo District Local Government for the opportunity to let her serve in the district, a job she believed she performed to the best of her ability. She thanked her workmates in the Education department, head teachers, SMC members, PTA, Local Council and Religious Leaders for making her work so easy and accepting to be easily managed. She apologized for any wrongs across her journey, as they were never ill intentioned.

The Secretary for Education, Hon Tugume Brown, thanked her for the good work done, and was immensely proud of the legacy she has left in the education department. He called upon those remaining in office to cooperate and be humble, result driven like she has been. He thanked her for being an inspiration to many, and requested her to accept to be consulted when need arises, as she’s a retired resource, but not tired.

The Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Kyenjojo, Mr. Yiga Martin Paul, thanked her for tirelessly working in harmony with her staff. He acknowledged the challenges faced, but they should be looked at as opportunities to improve. He promised that now that recruitment was already ongoing, the process would be expedited so a replacement is in office as soon as possible. He requested any challenges there at present to be handled before a substantive officer is appointed.
